Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in histology and laboratory procedures, with a valid certification as a Histologic Technician issued by NYSED. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform histological procedures, including tissue processing, sectioning, and staining
  • Operate laboratory equipment, including microscopes and automated staining machines
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory records and reports
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate laboratory operations
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Histology Technician
  • Valid certification as a Histologic Technician issued by NYSED
  • Primary Source Verification required
  • BLS preferred
