Our Care TeamOur Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Their responsibilities include:
- Administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Presenting medication to residents and observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures.
- Taking vital signs or observing residents to detect response to medication, and reporting any reactions.
- Restocking medication inventories.
- Providing direct patient care and ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and emergency situations.
