At CVS Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Graduate Pharmacist Intern, you'll play a critical role in our pharmacy team, working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients and customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.

Requirements:
  • PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
  • 0-3 years prior relevant work experience.
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP.
  • Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Immunization eligibility.
  • 3-5 years prior relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
