Job Title: Pharmacy Technician / Pharm Tech Apprenticeship

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification preferred.
