Paraprofessional Assistant

Excelsior Village Academies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to provide instructional and behavioral support to students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist educators in implementing instructional activities and lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to reinforce learning objectives and promote academic progress.
- Support students with special needs in accessing the general education curriculum and participating in the classroom environment.
- Collaborate with educators to develop and implement behavior management strategies.
- Assist with monitoring student behavior and maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, educators, and other school staff to support student success.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student learning and well-being
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
