Position Summary:
The Inventory Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily physical inventory adjustments to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Provide essential information to Accounts Payable regarding discrepancies in received goods.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to lost inventory.
- Support the purchasing department with vendor item management, including new, discontinued, and return processes.
- Prepare and distribute a weekly inventory report for various departments.
- Perform aisle verifications to ensure product availability and organization.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to uphold product standards and integrity.
- Assist in maintaining comprehensive inventory control reports, addressing issues such as lost pallets and negative picks.
- Offer backup support in the absence of the Inventory Control Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A High School diploma.
- 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in computer applications, including basic Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with shipping procedures and operations within the receiving department.
- Knowledge of EXE Technology WMS systems and HK systems interface.
Work Schedule:
Shifts begin at 5:00 AM, with potential for overtime and weekend work.
