Position Title: District Manager
Reports To: Regional Manager
Employment Type: Full Time / Supervisor / Exempt
Position Summary
The District Manager is accountable for overseeing all operational aspects within designated Planet Fitness locations. This role encompasses management of multiple clubs, typically ranging from 3 to 8, and includes direct supervision of Club Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional and uniform customer service across all Planet Fitness locations within the district.
- Analyze club performance metrics to develop corrective strategies in collaboration with Club Managers.
- Maintain operational uniformity across all clubs in the district, focusing on:
- Outstanding Member Experience
- Adherence to Planet Fitness and PF Baseline Fitness brand standards
- Club cleanliness and maintenance
- Implementation of member and HR policies
- Payroll management
- Front desk operations
- Facility upkeep and repairs
- Vendor relations and inventory management
- Oversee the recruitment, coaching, development, performance evaluations, and potential disciplinary actions of Club Managers within the district.
- Train and develop staff to prepare them for future Club Manager roles.
- Conduct monthly inspections of club facilities and complete performance bonus assessments for Club Managers.
- Facilitate effective communication with all operational staff within the district, ensuring regular updates with Club Managers.
- Coordinate and manage District PE at PF activities, including hiring, training, and weekly planning. Monitor class attendance weekly and maintain regular trainer calls.
- Ensure seamless operations across all locations in the district, stepping in as Club Manager when necessary.
- Address all incoming complaints and feedback from district locations.
