We are seeking an exceptional Insurance Specialist to join our team at Regional Cancer Care Associates. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of patient and payer accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage delinquent accounts to prevent write-offs and ensure timely payment.
- Review and resolve billing errors and discrepancies to ensure accurate payment postings.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve insurance payment and billing issues.
- Update and maintain accurate patient and payer information in our systems.
- Communicate with patients to secure past due balances and resolve billing and insurance inquiries.
- Adhere to confidentiality and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, to protect patient records.
- Minimum two (2) years of combined medical billing and payment experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state, federal, and third-party claims processing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal collections guidelines.
- Ability to successfully complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying the position.
