MRI Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist II to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images and optimal patient care.
- Operate MRI equipment, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in MRI or related field.
- ARRT Certification/Registration.
- Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State.
