Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist II-IV Certified to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrates skill in using the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology, ensuring accurate patient information is accessed and documented in accordance with HIPPA regulations.
Correctly chooses appropriate patient information from HIS/RIS system, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Demonstrates ability to access patient information, including appointment times, type of exam, and patient reports, to ensure seamless patient care.
Is knowledgeable of the total cycle of RIS patient tracking, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow.

Requirements:

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in a related field. You must also hold Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State, ARRT Primary Certification/Registration, and a New York State License (Radiologic technology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy).
