Role Summary
The Structural Foreman will oversee and guide structural fitters and welders, ensuring the successful assembly of structural modules ready for shipment and reassembly under the supervision of the Fabrication Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities
• Organize and assign teams for structural tasks.
• Assess crew members' training levels and facilitate necessary training.
• Comprehend and enforce all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the superintendent to meet project timelines and training needs.
• Monitor assigned tasks to ensure accuracy and minimize rework.
• Uphold company standards for operational procedures and safety.
• Strive for operational improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department for solutions and modifications.
• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Address both company and customer requirements effectively.
• Utilize resources for quality assurance and project completion.
• Participate in daily shift transitions with detailed communication.
• Supervise material usage for accuracy in projects.
• Maintain the fabrication shop and oversee all activities.
• Ensure proper loading and labeling of modules for transport.
• Be part of the load-out team, ensuring safe departure of drivers.
• Oversee staging of structural assemblies according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in laydown areas.
• Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 15 years of experience in shipyard mechanical trades, with at least 5 years in a foreman role.
• Minimum of 3 years of welding experience across various techniques.

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Vocational technical training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fabrication facility, with potential exposure to various environmental conditions. The noise level may be high, and physical demands include lifting and moving materials.

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
