ISUDT Marriage and Family Therapist

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing seeks a skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to work in an ISUDT setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing clinical interventions, counseling, and assessments in a correctional facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Services:
- Perform assessments and provide clinical interventions, including counseling (group and individual).
- Collaborate with other professionals to contribute to care planning and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Assist in transitional care planning and connect patients with community resources upon release.
Therapeutic Goals:
- Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups, to modify behaviors.
- Conduct assessments for patients preparing for release.
- Offer education and counseling to develop life skills and address Substance Use Disorder-related issues.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Contribute to treatment and care plans.
- Review patient records, gather data, and complete necessary documentation.
- Make recommendations to care teams and foster effective communication.
