Job Summary
AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Marriage and Family Therapist to provide services at a correctional facility in Corcoran, California. This is a long-term contract position with a competitive salary.
About the Position
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, providing assessments and clinical interventions, including counseling (group and individual). They will also collaborate with other professionals, contribute to care planning, and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and intervention services for patients, including cognitive behavior therapy for individuals with substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with institutional partners and custody staff to evaluate patient participation and progress.
- Attend required case conferences, meetings, training sessions, and committees.
- Document and assess patient progress in programs, assisting with discharges and transfers in coordination with other rehabilitation programs.
Requirements
- Valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
- At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years.
- Must have the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of $102,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and 28-week duration. This position requires Tuesday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm shifts. AdeIphi Medical Staffing values our employees' well-being and offers a supportive work environment.
