Position Overview

Phaxis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology and Pulmonary Medical Coding Specialist to join our fully remote team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate coding and billing for various medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate coding of medical records related to Cardiology and Pulmonary services.
  • Review and code office visits, hospital encounters, and non-invasive testing procedures.
  • Ensure proper billing for Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Electrocardiograms, and other cardiac monitoring services.
  • Handle coding for complex procedures including Pacer Interrogations, Cardiac Catheterizations, and Electrophysiology.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in medical coding, specifically in Cardiology and Pulmonary specialties.
  • A stable work history demonstrating reliability and expertise in the field.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high coding standards.
