Job Title: Cashier

At Pollo Campero, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Cashier to join our Front of House Team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by guiding guests through our menu and ensuring accurate orders are fulfilled.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage with new and repeat guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Be knowledgeable about our menu items, making meal suggestions and answering questions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Verify each guest order for accuracy, manage to-go orders, process POS transactions, and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Operate the cash register and accurately count money and give change.
  • Count the register before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortage or overage.
  • Assist with front-line food preparation procedures, such as packaging and taking orders to tables.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality products.
  • Work effectively with others in a busy restaurant environment, communicating clearly and following safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles.
  • Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must follow the company Personal Care and Hygiene policies.
  • Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
Pay Range:

USD $20.00/Hr.
