Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent structural engineering firm, is in search of a highly skilled structural engineer to enhance their team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of expertise in building design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design process of construction projects from initial concept through to final execution.
- Conduct structural evaluations and design calculations for a variety of construction materials and systems.
- Examine and authorize design drawings and specifications.
- Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Engage in business development efforts, including proposal creation and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: At least 7 years in a Project Engineer role or similar.
- Licensure: PE / SE licensure in California is required.
Preferred Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design for buildings.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000) and CAD applications.
