Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairway Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties, including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be available to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies and other business needs.
  • Assist neighboring properties with maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Perform minor building, electrical, painting, and plumbing repairs to maintain the integrity of our facilities.
  • Manage inventory of repair supplies and materials, and request purchases as needed.
  • Conduct final move-in and move-out inspections with property managers.
  • Turn units in a timely manner, including painting, carpet cleaning, general cleaning, and other tasks to prepare units for rent.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving furniture as needed.
  • Travel to and participate in regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed with applicable tools and equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred.
