Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and courteous assistance to end-users via various communication channels, including email and web-based systems.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as checking and cleaning workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Document all pertinent end-user information, including problem resolution and technical details.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues with desktop computing equipment and software.
  • Order computer supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of previous IT technical service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
