Cake Decorator Responsibilities:

The Cake Decorator is responsible for preparing frosting and decorating cakes according to established standards and timelines, including those for walk-in customers and pre-orders. Cake Decorators maintain a clean, sanitized, and efficient frosting station. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing cake frosting
  • Decorating all cakes
  • Folding cake boxes
  • Keeping the frosting area clean and sanitized
  • Assisting customers with phone orders
  • Supporting other departments as needed
Cake Decorators add the finishing touches to our cakes, making every moment extra special.

Guest Service Representative Responsibilities:

The Guest Service Representative engages with customers both in-person and over the phone, providing creative celebration solutions in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Welcoming walk-in customers and introducing them to our bakery and products
  • Assisting customers with walk-in orders using creative celebration solutions
  • Recommending cake decorations, balloon sales, retail items, candles, and cards
  • Assisting customers with phone orders
  • Operating and balancing the point of sale (POS) system accurately
  • Helping customers with loyalty programs and surveys
  • Keeping the cake display stocked with various cake sizes
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of our products, pricing, and promotions
  • Ensuring the retail area is clean and well-organized
  • Performing tasks assigned by the baking department, such as creating decorative pieces
  • Assisting other departments as necessary
Guest Service Representatives create a warm and welcoming environment, helping customers find the perfect cake for every occasion.

Baker Responsibilities:

The Baker is responsible for baking a variety of cakes according to established recipes and time guidelines. The Baker ensures that required inventory levels are maintained and bakes accordingly. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Baking cakes in various sizes and flavors by following established recipes
  • Removing cakes from pans and packaging them properly
  • Storing baked cakes appropriately and rotating inventory as per brand standards
