Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Processing Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Pharmaceutical Production Chemist, you will play a critical role in the production of pharmaceutical peptides, working closely with our team to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor chemical reactions and ensure the completeness and accuracy of chemical processes.
  • Perform intermediate chemical processing steps, preparing solutions for purification and sampling.
  • Purify crude peptides using HPLC and conduct lyophilization processes according to established guidelines.
  • Perform drying processes in accordance with established procedures and report any issues or problems to supervision.
  • Conduct in-process checking of fractions using analytical HPLC and report results to supervision and/or Sr. Production Chemist personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
  • 6 months of GMP experience with analytical instrumentation, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
