Job Title: Fargo ND Route Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Sales Driver to join our team at Prairie Farms Dairy Inc. As a Route Sales Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and selling dairy products to customers in the Fargo ND area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a truck over established routes to deliver and sell dairy products to customers
  • Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts
  • Write customer orders and instructions, and record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records
  • Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and prepare order forms and sales contracts
  • Inform regular customers of new products or services and listen to and resolve service complaints
  • Load and unload product at destination, place stock on shelves or racks, set up merchandise and sales promotion displays, issue sales promotion materials to customers, and collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise
  • Stack and unstack items weighing 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back, and drag stacks of milk weighing approximately 240 pounds throughout the shift
  • Work in very hot (100°+) and very cool (less than 32°) environments throughout the year, and work outside most of the time, regardless of the conditions
  • Keep the inside of the truck clean, perform routine maintenance on the truck, and work and drive in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL license
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Minimum age: 21, as per Federal D.O.T. regulations
  • Ability to pass a D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen
  • Past route sales experience and a good driving record preferred
Work Schedule:

The normal workweek is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On occasion, you may be called upon for a Wednesday and/or Saturday shift. Daily clock-in ranges between 1:00 am and 5:00 am.
