About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team at Crescent Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify purchasing procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Route invoices for approval and ensure timely payment
  • Process approved invoices and reconcile vendor statements
  • Handle vendor inquiries and maintain open invoices file
  • Interface checks and submit logs to the Controller
  • File and distribute credit card cancellations and bulletins
  • Record General Ledger and City Ledger reconciliations
  • Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work
  • Post city ledger payments and reconcile accounts
  • Reconcile credit card back-up and bill out credit cards
  • Set up new accounts and assist in reconciling open account status items
  • Input General Cashier Summary and maintain binder
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to compile facts and figures
  • Ability to operate personal computer and calculator
