Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Associate/Customer Service Team Leader to join our team at GPM Investments LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing fast and efficient service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Processing: Ring customer sales using an electronic cash register, receive money, give correct change, and process refunds and exchanges.
- Inventory Management: Assist with shift change by counting money in the cash drawer, check and replenish stock on food service supplies, and clean and sanitize equipment.
- Stockroom Management: Stock shelves and cooler, rotate and front-face stock, remove damaged or expired merchandise, and price merchandise according to the price book.
- Vendor Management: Check in vendor deliveries as needed, complete bad merchandise forms, and order merchandise.
- Training and Development: Complete all necessary training evaluations and documents, provide feedback to management on training programs, and monitor cash levels and security procedures.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
- Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
