Career Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Cedarhurst of Topeka community. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care needs, including grooming, hygiene, dressing, and nutrition.
  • Respond to residents' needs using a proactive approach, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, food and fluid intake, and output, as directed.
  • Transport residents safely and assist with walking, turning, or repositioning as needed.
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping duties, and assist with meal service.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and promote their physical, personal, and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited CNA program preferred.
  • One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred.
  • CPR or BLS certification preferred.
