Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the planning, layout, and execution of concrete work on various projects. You'll work closely with clients and superintendents to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to ensure that concrete work is completed to the highest standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and superintendents.
- Conduct regular safety, quality, and production meetings to ensure that projects are on track.
- Assure that all foremen and crew evaluations are conducted and performance agreements are in place.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and promote best practices among team members.
- Ensure accurate time sheets, quantity, and productivity reports are maintained.
- Monitor and maintain schedules, coordinate with the master schedule, and develop work packages and task plans.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and The Sundt Way.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to help team members reach their full potential.
- Minimum of five years' experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of concrete work.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to set high standards and expectations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, superintendents, and team members.
