The ideal candidate will have one to two years of clinical experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Certification through the AAMA or an equal certification board is preferred.
Responsibilities- Pre-visit planning and standard rooming responsibilities
- Assisting with procedures and discharge instructions
- Cross-training and floating as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations
- One to two years of clinical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
- A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant Program
- A graduate of a non-CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistant program or Military Medic/Corpsman training
- Currently possess and are in good standing with at least one of the following credentials: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - AMT, Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - NHA
