Job Summary:

Quadrant is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure platforms to support enterprise applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud and on-premise solutions to meet business requirements
Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning
Integrate, monitor, and optimize cloud and on-premise solutions to ensure high availability and performance
Ensure platform security compliance with DoD standards and maintain systems in alignment with cybersecurity best practices
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to maintain high availability of systems

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, or related fields
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system design
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Experience working in DoD or government environments preferred
Knowledge of networking and firewall configurations preferred
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus
