Key Responsibilities- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Provide direct supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Resident Assistants, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to deliver exceptional care.
- Participate in our Pathways of Purpose program, promoting functional engagement and enhancing the overall resident experience.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established nursing techniques and protocols.
- Document resident histories, physical assessments, and care plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Respond to resident, family, or physician concerns, escalating issues to the Clinical Services Director as necessary.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives, enhancing the quality of care and services.
- A current and valid nursing license.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a senior living community, with a minimum of three years in a management/supervisory position or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- LifeScan criminal record clearance or exemption, as required by law.
- Health evaluation to ensure ability to perform duties of the position and absence of any communicable disease, including tuberculosis.
- Basic Class 'C' Driver's License with a clean driving record, free of restrictions or limitations as required by State regulation.
