Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a correctional facility setting. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide essential services to mentally ill inmates/wards under the guidance of senior psychologists, supervisors, or supervising psychiatric social workers.

Job Summary:

The LCSW will be responsible for providing mental health services, including crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews. You will conduct mental health assessments, identify relevant signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders, and develop treatment plans that adhere to standard practice. Additionally, you will thoroughly document all care provided to inmates, monitor progress, and apply community standards of practice for non-medical treatment modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health services to mentally ill inmates/wards, including crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
  • Conduct mental health assessments, identify relevant signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders, and develop treatment plans.
  • Thoroughly document all care provided to inmates, monitor progress, and apply community standards of practice for non-medical treatment modalities.
  • Consult with supervisors, treatment team members, and institutional health care personnel on complex cases.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings and compile and analyze data from audits related to mental health program requirements.
  • Provide information to support staff for data entry and prepare written reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid and active California LCSW license.
  • At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED).
  • Must be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing).
