About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Systems Consultant to join our team at Introba. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for assisting project managers and principals with the consulting, design, and construction management of technology systems primarily in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate relationships with clients and serve as one of the clients' primary points of contact.
  • Define channels of communication and provide frequent updates to keep customers and other project stakeholders informed of progress and any necessary modifications or delays.
  • Approach clients with a consultative mindset, listen to their needs, and provide valuable information to support their goals.
  • Co-lead project meetings with other senior consultants or project managers to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Routinely seek customer feedback, respond to, and resolve issues as they arise.
Consulting and Design Expertise
  • Support senior consultants in leading clients through the programming/visioning phase.
  • Develop programmatic reports, sketches, and budgets to communicate recommendations to clients in a manufacturer-neutral, iterative fashion.
  • Support project budgeting; track and manage the project budget throughout the duration of the project.
  • Co-lead project meetings; establish meeting agendas; document meeting minutes.
  • Maintain an action item and issues log.
  • Support overall project scheduling.
Design Phase
  • Support senior consultants during user meetings to develop requirements by system, department, room, etc.
  • Effectively document customer requirements.
  • Communicate requirements to the internal design team.
  • Coordinate with external design teams (architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, etc.).
  • Support the development of detailed design documents, including drawings and specifications for systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Review construction documents for quality and coordination.
Procurement Phase
  • Support senior consultants in developing necessary RFPs for equipment or services.
  • Answer bid period questions.
  • Issue clarifying addenda.
  • Review proposals and tabulate them in an easy-to-understand format to assist the customer in selection.
Implementation Phase
  • Oversee construction phases and conduct periodic site visits to ensure contractors adhere to design intent, specifications, quality, and objectives.
  • Answer RFI's and resolve coordination and construction issues.
  • Develop and manage punch lists for each system.
  • Support the development of transition and move plans.
  • Support final commissioning of systems and end-user training.
  • Track and manage close-out activities and documentation.
Professional Development
  • Attend professional developmental seminars and conferences to stay abreast of industry changes and advances.
  • Provide entry-level education and guidance for other staff in support of the company's mission.
  • Participate and contribute to meeting company goals.
Travel

This position may require limited out-of-town travel, including project-related travel and industry conferences. Travel is typically during the week and 1-3 days in duration, with an average of one trip per month. Domestic travel is normal, but occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the AEC industry. In addition to strong personal computer skills, a high level of proficiency and expertise in the following productivity tools is required:

  • MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, etc.
  • Revit by Autodesk.
  • AutoCAD by Autodesk.
  • Bluebeam Revu.

The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
