As a PACU nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Your duties will include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care, and developing, implementing, and coordinating individualized care plans for patients. You will also be responsible for initiating assessment based on patient problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing care of patients, and documenting care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. If you have a strong background in telemetry and a commitment to working weekends and holidays, with on-call requirements, we encourage you to apply. Requirements include a minimum of 2 recent years in critical care and PACU, a NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS - AHA, ACLS - AHA, and PALS certifications, and telemetry certification. We offer a competitive weekly pay range of $2251 to $2501 and 36 hours of guaranteed work per week.
