About the Role

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our Partnership Tax development team as a Tax Analyst. In this role, you will leverage your tax knowledge and experience to significantly impact our customers' success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze tax forms, instructions, related laws, and other agency guidance to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our tax preparation software.
  • Collaborate with the technology team and write design specifications to implement changes and enhancements.
  • Design the client interface, including input screens and worksheets.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with teams to obtain forms approval and electronic filing approval of tax products.
  • Test software products to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Write help documentation to assist customers in navigating the software.
  • Provide assistance to the support team to resolve client inquiries and issues.
About You

You're a fit for the role of Tax Analyst if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Two or more years of recent income tax experience, including preparation of passthrough entity tax returns (partnerships and/or S Corporations).

Additional desired experience:

  • Professional certification, e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
  • State, city, and local income tax preparation.
  • Electronic filing of tax returns.
  • Experience with UltraTax CS software.
