Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Audiologist to join our clinic in Missoula, MT. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the healthcare of our service members, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a variety of audiometric tests to assess hearing impairment.
- Evaluate test outcomes in conjunction with medical history and past audiograms to determine the cause of hearing loss.
- Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to paraprofessional staff in audiology-related tasks.
- Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).
- Travel as needed to conduct audiology assessments at various locations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in audiology.
- Current, unrestricted audiology license in the state of employment.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
- Ability to pass a background investigation and maintain necessary government clearances.
