Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at the Texas Education Service Center Region VIII Consortium. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans for students with communication disorders, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals, and providing support to students with special education needs.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited college or university, or a Bachelor's Degree with a valid Texas Teacher Certificate. A Certificate of Clinical Competence Preferred, and a valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology is also required.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is $TEA Teacher Salary Schedule plus $4000 above state base. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a 4-day work week, $300 towards TRS ActiveCare health insurance, and a $20,000 life insurance policy.
