Job Title: Senior Configuration Management Analyst

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Management Analyst to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about creating innovative solutions for complex problems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product design changes and their effects on the overall system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
  • Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines
  • Provide project support in creating/reviewing contents of CDRL's, SDRL's, item records, change records, and other items in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • Execute Configuration and Data Management processes and controls, ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements
  • Write and maintain documents such as CM corporate policies, Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions, and audit forms
  • Oversee CM team members regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches
  • Support tasks in a dynamic environment, working closely with the CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality, other teams, and the customer and/or external contacts to support products throughout their lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in a relevant applicable field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 15 years applicable experience in configuration and data management of products where impact assessments, change authorization, and adhering to industry standards is a daily required activity
  • Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
  • Detailed knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain and develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software, and other CM practices as detailed in SAE EIA-649 (series and associated handbooks), ASME Y14 (series), ISO 9001, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-HDBK-61, DODM 5200.01 (series), DODI 5200.48, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge and a minimum of 5 years' experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, Aras, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Detailed knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO, Solidworks, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as Windchill, Solidworks PDM Pro, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software
  • Capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, customer representatives, and external contacts
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NDIA CDM, CMII, or other Configuration Management/Data Management certification

Pay Range: $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
