As a Logistics Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our software applications and transportation hardware, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
1. Provide troubleshooting and resolution for assigned applications, continuously monitoring and addressing issues as they arise.
2. Collaborate closely with IT Development teams and support vendors to resolve system-related challenges.
3. Manage and oversee client devices, including mobile handheld devices used by drivers and their accessories.
4. Serve as a power user and resource for all mobile devices and applications utilized by DTI.
5. Conduct training sessions for managers, staff, and drivers on the effective use of mobile devices and related applications.
6. Troubleshoot, monitor, research, and test various systems to ensure optimal performance.
7. Work alongside IT staff to develop new mobile applications tailored for transportation needs.
8. Apply lean methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies across all areas of DTI.
Qualifications:
You Must Have:
- A degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong training, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
You May Also Have:
- Experience in transportation operations.

Standard workweek with on-call responsibilities and occasional overnight travel.
