Surgical Technologist Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Prepare and organize the operating room prior to surgery, selecting and passing instruments as directed.
- Maintain the operating room in aseptic condition, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Assist with patient care during and after surgery, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- One (1) year of operating room or military equivalent experience in a scrub role within the last two (2) years or recent completion of an operating room training program.
- Surgical Technologist Certificate within six (6) months of hire from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to scrub all types of surgical cases except open heart.
