We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant Professor to join our team in the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, you will play a critical role in providing medical care to critical care patients on the Intensive Care Unit, participating in departmental educational activities, and advising/mentoring medical students and/or residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to critical care patients on the Intensive Care Unit
- Participate in departmental educational activities, including teaching and mentoring
- Advise and mentor medical students and/or residents as needed
- Participate in research and other scholarly activities
- MD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of a critical care fellowship
- Hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license
