Job Summary

The Distribution Center Asset Protection and Safety Manager is a critical role responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our distribution center operations. This position plays a key part in maintaining a safe and secure work environment, minimizing asset loss, and promoting a culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Analyze Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into reports of asset losses, injuries, or harassment to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and Audit Operations: Regularly audit and monitor shipping and receiving procedures to ensure the security and integrity of store deliveries.
  • Implement Security Measures: Conduct physical security checks to minimize asset loss and maintain CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Train and Develop Associates: Provide training and guidance to new associates on loss prevention, safety, and OSHA compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all safety violations are reported and investigated in a timely manner, and that all necessary corrective actions are taken.
  • Conduct Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
  • Oversee Security Operations: Oversee the security operations of the distribution center, including the management of security personnel and the implementation of security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in asset protection in a retail service-oriented business, or demonstration of skills and learning through an internal development program and selection process.
  • Skills: Ability to exercise sound judgment, efficient planning, prioritization, and implementation of detailed instructions, and ability to learn and communicate new information and processes to all associates within company standards.
  • Certifications: Wicklander and Zulawski Certified.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
  • Duties: Duties frequently involve repetitive motions of typing, filling envelopes, and filing.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • Travel: Infrequent travel may be required.
