Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Salem, Oregon. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services in a hospital and clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures using diagnostic radiographic equipment, adhering to department policies and procedures.
  • Image processing and quality assurance, working under the supervision of radiologists as needed.
  • Patient registration, scheduling, and transportation, as well as file work and restocking supplies.
  • Participate in on-call or standby schedules as required, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three years.
  • Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Science or a related field.
