Role Summary:

The Buffalo office is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, in-person position is designed for a candidate who can effectively assist the Human Resources Manager in managing HR and payroll operations. The successful applicant will leverage their expertise in HR processes to provide support to employees across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing, including data entry and updates.
  • Administer employee benefits enrollment and termination documentation.
  • Reconcile invoices related to fringe benefits to guarantee accuracy and timely payments.
  • Oversee the enrollment and termination of employee benefits, ensuring prompt submission of invoices.
  • Conduct employment verifications and reference checks.
  • Perform background checks and analyze results.
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files, documenting status changes as necessary.
  • Manage personnel records within the HR system.
  • Handle various employee-related programs, including Worker's Compensation and 401(k) contributions.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist in organizing company events and meetings.
  • Address employee inquiries and issues effectively.
  • Support the Human Resources Manager with additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Act as a backup for the Human Resources Assistant when necessary.
Qualifications:

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to address issues as they arise.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Proficient in researching and analyzing information to resolve various situations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
