Tier 3 Project Team Engineer

The Tier III Project Team Engineer is a key member of our Managed IT Services team, responsible for delivering complex solutions to clients. This expert-level engineer will work closely with project managers, solutions architects, and team leads to ensure timely and professional delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take proposed scope of work and deliver solutions to clients
  • Work closely with project managers and solutions architects to ensure all deliverables are understood and met
  • Understand and implement Proven IT recommended technology solutions, including standardizing network, security, hardware, and cloud-based systems
  • Provide server infrastructure, including network builds, DNS, DHCP, domain hosting, and visualization software
  • Implement office 365 migrations and set up wireless access points
  • Document all projects in a knowledge center for customer calls
  • Resolve help desk tickets and assist with on-site and deep dives during onboardings
  • Work weekends and after hours for project implementations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience and certifications
  • 7+ years of experience working in the IT Tier II or Tier III field
  • Strong knowledge of customer service and ability to work in a physical office
  • Ability to travel to client sites and possess advanced level analytical, communication, and technology skills
  • Knowledge of backup technology and cloud technology, as well as advanced understanding of networking and security appliances
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladder and work in confined spaces
