Job Summary:

CAS is seeking a Lead Security Architect and Application Security Tester to support both ACS and CAS as an enterprise function. This role will be responsible for assessing threats and vulnerabilities, analyzing data and code, defining measurable objectives, and driving implementations of security solutions for the entire enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess threats and vulnerabilities, analyze data and code, and define measurable objectives.
  • Drive implementations of security solutions for the entire enterprise.
  • Define and document security requirements, standards, patterns, reference architectures, and decision trees.
  • Perform penetration tests when deemed necessary.
  • Collaborate with business partners to review, assess, and collaborate to harden security controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or other business-related field and 12+ years' experience OR a Master's degree and 8+ years' experience in cyber security.
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security +, CRISC, CISM, etc.) preferred.
  • Advanced level knowledge of industry standard security domains and expert knowledge in at least two.
  • Working knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of core network and systems administrator protocols.
  • Working knowledge of wireless network solutions.
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud architectures, technologies, and controls to secure them.
  • Functional knowledge of container technologies.
  • Experience with and ability to implement security best practices.
  • Experience with security and governance, risk, and compliance tools.
  • Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Demonstrated success working independently and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert level experience working with a team to solve complex, high-risk, and high-impact technical and process problems.
  • Strong track record of achieving results.
  • Demonstrated reliability and follow-through on commitments and assignments.
  • Role model high ethics, professionalism, and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement advanced security best practices.
  • Work well under pressure (i.e., a critical system is down).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a given timeframe.
