As an Assistant Director at The Learning Experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of both children and educators. Your leadership will foster a collaborative atmosphere that promotes growth and success for all involved.


Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development
  • Support the Center Director in cultivating a positive environment for educators, families, and young learners.
  • Conduct classroom assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching practices.
  • Ensure the implementation of the curriculum aligns with organizational standards.
  • Utilize a growth-oriented approach to mentor and develop staff.
  • Address employee concerns with an objective perspective and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Create and communicate weekly staff schedules.
  • Oversee daily classroom ratios to maintain compliance.
  • Manage center schedules to uphold appropriate staffing ratios and budgetary constraints.
Client Engagement
  • Lead tours for prospective families, showcasing the unique aspects of our curriculum and the quality of our educators.
  • Supervise the curriculum program to ensure high-quality educational experiences for children.
  • Maintain regular communication with families regarding their child's progress.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance parent satisfaction.
  • Oversee the use of our Parent App for ongoing engagement.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate student records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as per local and state regulations.
  • Manage relationships with licensing authorities and perform center evaluations.
  • Handle incident reporting and medication management.
  • Conduct monthly safety drills to ensure preparedness.

Qualifications:
  • Must fulfill educational requirements for a director of a large franchised center in Colorado.
  • Must hold a PDIS Level III certification or higher.
  • Preferred: Two or more years of leadership experience in a center setting; at least one year required.
  • Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool-aged children is essential.
  • AA degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state licensing regulations is necessary.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is highly preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required.
