Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health in Galveston, Texas. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and collaborate with a dynamic team to provide comprehensive and personalized treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans
  • Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with the team
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals
  • Prepare and submit documentation for each session
  • Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a behavioral science or related field
  • Texas clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LP, etc.)
  • Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate stable boundaries with clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed mental health professional with a valid Texas license
  • Experience with couples and families
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing
