About the Role
Hospitality Health ER is seeking a skilled Myotherapist/Massage Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide proficient, competent care while maintaining the patient's sense of comfort and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in a positive working relationship with patients, visitors, and staff to create a patient-centered focus.
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance.
- Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Prioritize patient needs, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide a warm welcome and engage with patients, visitors, and staff to create a positive experience.
- Oversee the organization and planning of workflow within the Massage Department.
- Plan daily tasks, anticipate client and patient needs, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the department supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff to ensure a smooth experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Customer service experience in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of the department.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Understanding of clinical care and privacy.
- Massage Therapist License issued by TDLR in current status.
- High school diploma or GED.
