We have established partnerships with major telecommunications companies, ensuring reliable high-speed internet connectivity across multiple states.
Typical Job Duties:
- Perform splicing, balancing, activation, and troubleshooting of signal paths for new coaxial installations and ongoing projects. Standard coaxial sizes include .625 and .875.
- Optimize network nodes and demonstrate familiarity with harmonic nodes.
- Document and report daily activities using digital tools such as email and spreadsheets.
- Work hours: 40-50 per week.
- Knowledge of safe operation of aerial lift bucket trucks and ladder usage is essential; climbing ability is a plus.
- Experience working within public rights-of-way, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Possession of personal hand tools, including coring tools; tools may be provided based on experience.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to utilize a Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Consistent attendance is required, with a start time of 7 AM.
- Availability for on-call duties for after-hours emergencies.
- Proficiency in email and basic project tracking using Microsoft Excel.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Successful completion of drug screening and background check is required.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred, though training may be provided for select candidates.
