Veterinary Anesthesia Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Anesthesia Technician to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor anesthesia levels and adjust as needed
  • Assist with case preparation and setup
  • Collect patient histories and physical exams
  • Perform venipuncture and IVC placement
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures
  • Provide compassionate care to patients and their owners
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician
  • Certification in veterinary anesthesia (CVT or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
