Job Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Store Manager to lead our retail store locations in the Johnston, RI area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, monitoring inventory and expenses, managing personnel, and controlling operating costs.

About the Position

The Automotive Store Manager will direct the work of technicians and mechanics to ensure the timely and safe completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance. You will communicate directly with customers, assess their needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor inventory and expenses to optimize profitability
  • Manage personnel to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality work
  • Control operating costs to maintain a competitive edge
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess 1 year of experience in retail store management or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
