Overview

This position is open to all U.S. Citizens who meet the necessary qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Security Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Interpreting and applying DoD regulations and guidelines to ensure adherence to AT/FP standards.
  • Creating comprehensive plans, timelines, and tracking systems to assess progress and identify risks in complex security initiatives.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and producing detailed reports to verify compliance with security policies and construction standards.
  • Analyzing threat and vulnerability assessments to formulate effective physical security strategies that support risk management.
Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Registration with Selective Service is required for males born after a certain date.
  • This position is designated for Drug Testing.
  • Full-time work schedule with occasional overtime may be necessary.
  • Telework options are available, but regular office attendance is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
  • Certification in Physical Security Concepts (PSC) is required within two years of employment.
  • ATFP Level 2 Certification must be maintained.
  • Interagency Security Committee Certification is also required within the first year of employment.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate relevant experience that showcases the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for success. This includes:
  • Experience in interpreting DoD regulations and implementing AT/FP standards.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage security project plans and timelines.
  • Experience conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Strong analytical skills in assessing threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
